The EU Green Deal and the related Circular Economy Action Plan (CEAP) are the EU’s top priorities for the coming years. The Dutch government, too, will set ambitious targets for CO2 reduction and a circular economy by 2030 through the Climate and Raw Materials Agreements. The furniture industry must do its part, and concrete requirements regarding the environmental footprint of products are on the horizon. The days of superficial “eco” labels are over, and quantifying a product’s environmental performance is now the norm. This quantification and subsequent declaration can be achieved through an independently verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), which is prepared in accordance with the EN 15804 standard.
The circular #greengridz desk and tabletops are proven and substantiated as best-in-class in the market. The MRPI®-EPD certificate has been verified by EcoReview. The LCA study was conducted by SGS Search. The certificate is based on an LCA report in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN 15804+A1. It has been verified in accordance with the “MRPI®-EPD Verification Protocol November 2020, v4.0.”
Starting today, use #greengridz desk and tabletop surfaces in your office. Make a demonstrable contribution to European sustainability goals by using fewer materials, reducing CO2 emissions, and generating no waste.
The EPD for #greengridz can be requested from TRIBOO or viewed at www.mrpi.nl or on the ECO Portal.
