#greengridz tables make a difference!

When you walk through a work environment—whether it’s an office, school, restaurant, or store—you don’t always stop to think about it. You don’t always realize that the tabletops and desk surfaces, because of their size, have a major impact on the aesthetics of the space. Often, you also don’t stop to think about how much material is needed and how much CO2 is emitted to create these heavy, solid surfaces. But there’s another way!

These are the tables made with the innovative, lightweight #greengridz tabletop! Depending on the thickness of the tabletop, each table uses between 60 and 90% less material and emits 60% less CO2 than the heavy, solid particleboard tabletops that are standard in the market.

And because lightweight #greengridz tabletops are made with less material, the waste problem is reduced before it even arises. Using less material means fewer trips, less sorting, and less recycling. And that’s exactly what nobody in the industry wants! Except us!

And when the #greengridz tabletops have finally reached the end of their useful life after years of use, they are transformed into activated carbon through a pyrolysis process for use in water and air filters. In this way, they begin the next phase of their circular cycle as raw materials within a closed-loop material cycle.

Join us and support TRIBOO EU in creating circular office designs, and help reduce the 11,000,000,000 kilograms* of furniture that is thrown away in Europe every year—90% of which is incinerated!
