Inspired by the layered fabrics of the fashion world, Cloak is a pendant light designed by Basten Leijh that offers flexibility and individuality in its design.
Each pendant lamp has two adjustable "straps" that can be positioned as desired. The outer strap offers two lighting styles: the white translucent strap provides a soft glow, and the colored opaque straps create a layered lighting effect. These lamps are lightweight and easy to install in any setting.
In addition, the 3D-printed parts of the pendant are made from at least 65% recycled or biocircular materials, making it an eco-friendly choice for those who want to reduce their carbon footprint.

Robotic 3D printing is a technique used in the production of circular design furniture. Layer by layer, parametric models are transformed into striking pieces of furniture. Because the robotic arm can print from virtually any angle, extremely complex, curved geometries are possible. Biophilic design and complex mathematical forms and algorithms can now be easily translated into Dutch Design furniture. Reusable raw materials and recycled materials from waste streams form the building blocks of table bases, lamps, and planters. This creates a new world of design freedom and paves the way for waste-free production. Furniture is digitally transported to its destination and produced locally with a minimal carbon footprint.
