The Cool Egg circular planters, pots, and vases are 3D-printed from 100% recycled material sourced from old refrigerators. Before being transformed, the raw materials kept our food cool and extended its shelf life. The plastic used comes from the inside of the refrigerator. It is food-safe, 100% recyclable, and has a long lifespan. How cool is that! Reusing waste as a raw material. The Cool Egg’s eye-catching 3D-printed shape was designed using circular design principles. Less material, fewer CO2 emissions, and less waste! It’s available in a variety of sizes and gives your work environment—whether at the office, school, hotel, or store—a sustainable identity by demonstrating that raw materials can be reused time and time again in different forms. By reusing raw materials that have been discarded as “waste,” you actively contribute to a zero-waste society, and the circular economy becomes a reality, step by step, in a practical way.
At the end of its useful life, the Essence can be returned to TRIBOO. The base is ground down and transformed in both form and function. It is 3D-printed into a circular product that is in demand at that time. The #greengridz table tops are converted into carbon for water and air filters through a pyrolysis process.
The value of the raw materials is refunded to the person who invested in the NeverEnding Furniture planters and vases upon return. For every kilogram of planter, the owner of the raw materials receives a refund of 5 euros. Because the planters have monetary value, they are no longer simply thrown away, and the raw materials are no longer lost.
