Desk and Table Tops
Less material, fewer CO2 emissions, and less waste
#Greengridz desk and tabletops are designed for the circular economy and make a difference in every interior design project. Our lightweight tabletops are best-in-class, and our data and figures in the LCA, EPD, and MKI score demonstrate our low environmental impact.

Less material, fewer CO2 emissions, and less waste! These are the circular design principles behind the #Greengridz desk and table tops. The tops are fully customizable in shape, size, and finish. They are produced locally and have a CO2 footprint that is 60% lower than that of a heavy solid top made of particleboard, plywood, or MDF. Approximately 12 kilograms less material is used per desk top measuring 1600x800x24mm. And the MKI score sets a new standard in circularity with a score of €2.31, far surpassing traditional panel materials.

The lightweight #Greengridz desk or tabletop is manufactured locally in a variety of shapes—from round, square, rectangular, barrel-shaped, oval, and trapezoidal to organic shapes such as a pebble. There is a vast selection of dimensions, allowing us to always create the desk or tabletop that meets your needs. Thanks to the standard panel length of 5,180 mm, extra-long tables can be made from a single piece. They are available with straight or rounded corners, and the tabletop thickness ranges from 25 to 100 mm. For the tabletop finish, we offer an extensive collection consisting of more than 100 different colors, patterns, and textures in HPL, wood veneer, Forbo Desktop, and even laminates made from recycled jeans, seaweed, and reed.
The finishing touch to fully personalize the #Greengridz desk or tabletop is a set of smart accessories that provide intelligent features. Integrated power and data ports in the tabletop allow you to charge laptops and mobile devices. Design, connectivity, and digital life blend seamlessly together.

With #greengridz, you use fewer materials, recycle fewer materials, sort fewer materials, and transport fewer materials. And at the end of their life cycle, you return them to TRIBOO, where the circular products are converted into activated carbon through a pyrolysis process and used in water and air filters. A closed-loop raw materials cycle.

CO2 emissions from the production of #greengridz tabletops are 60 percent lower than those from solid wood tabletops. Because of their light weight, 50 percent more volume can be transported, resulting in significantly lower fuel consumption and half the number of trips. The weight per square meter of a 38-millimeter tabletop is approximately 18 kilograms for plywood, 25 kilograms for particleboard, and 8 kilograms for #greengridz.

The lightweight #greengridz desk and table tops are constructed using a patented grid structure. This makes the tops extremely strong, rigid, and resistant to bending. With a top measuring 1600x800x24mm, you save approximately 13 kilograms of material compared to heavy, solid tops made of particleboard.
Together, we’re taking steps toward a healthier, circular work environment. Whether you want to furnish a single room or renovate an entire office, we’d be happy to work with you to find the right solution.
