This two-person workstation combines a healthy and productive workspace for two people with a circular approach to materials that focuses on reducing material use, promoting reuse, and minimizing environmental impact.
Less material, fewer CO2 emissions, and less waste! These are the circular design principles behind the #Greengridz desk. The workstations are fully customizable and feature lightweight #Greengridz desk tops. These tops are produced locally and have a CO2 footprint that is 60% lower than that of heavy, solid tops made from particleboard. Approximately 12 kilograms less material is used per desk top measuring 1600x800x24mm. And the MKI score sets a new standard for circularity with a score of €2.31, outperforming traditional sheet materials.
The #greengridz desks feature a sturdy base with electric height adjustment, allowing users to work while sitting or standing. They are manufactured in the Netherlands or elsewhere in Europe and comply with the NEN-EN 527 and NPR 1813 standards. They are available in a variety of colors, both used and new. The lightweight desk tops are made of #greengridz, and we manufacture them locally in various shapes, sizes, and finishes. An EverUse acoustic panel can be added to the workspace as an optional accessory. This panel consists of a #greengridz structural panel covered with an acoustic-absorbing material made from recycled textile fibers.
Smart accessories such as cable trays, electrical outlets, and cable management systems can be added to complete the workspace. Thanks to its modular design, the workspace is flexible and suitable for a wide range of office and project environments. The exact specifications depend on the selected configuration.

To ensure good acoustics, the desk can be equipped with an EverUse acoustic desk screen, finished with fabric made from recycled workwear. This panel is constructed from a #greengridz structural panel, which is covered with an acoustic-absorbing material made from recycled jeans. The exterior finish consists of a fabric made from old workwear sourced from social waste streams. The colors reflect the work and identity of the organizations and are recognizable to everyone. It’s even possible to create panels using your own old workwear as raw material.
At the end of their useful life, #greengridz can be returned to TRIBOO. They are then converted into carbon for water and air filters through a pyrolysis process. The panels are supported by a safe and sturdy electric height-adjustable base. The frames, whether used or new, are manufactured in the Netherlands or Europe.

With #greengridz, you use fewer materials, recycle fewer materials, sort fewer materials, and transport fewer materials. And at the end of their useful life, you return them to TRIBOO, where the circular products are converted into activated carbon through a pyrolysis process for use in water and air filters. A closed-loop raw materials cycle. The tabletops are supported by a safe and sturdy electric height-adjustable base. The frames, whether used or new, are manufactured in the Netherlands or Europe.
CO2 emissions from the production of #greengridz tabletops are 60 percent lower than those from solid wood tabletops. Because of their light weight, 50 percent more volume can be transported, resulting in significantly lower fuel consumption and half the number of trips. The weight per square meter of a 38-millimeter tabletop is approximately 18 kilograms for plywood, 25 kilograms for particleboard, and 8 kilograms for #greengridz.
The lightweight #greengridz desk and table tops are constructed using a patented grid structure. This makes the tops extremely strong, rigid, and resistant to bending. With a top measuring 1600x800x24mm, you save approximately 13 kilograms of material compared to heavy, solid tops made of particleboard.
