#Greengridz
Parka, the cabinet with a “jacket,” features a modular design. This means that both its structure and its aesthetics can be easily altered by swapping out components. For example, a sideboard can be transformed into a wall cabinet—and vice versa—by adding modules. The cabinet’s “coat,” made of wool felt, is removable and can be swapped out for “coats” of a different color. This gives the cabinet a new look without having to throw it away. The magnetic fronts can also be changed in 20 seconds. The panels, finished with material made from waste byproducts of flax and lavender, can simply be swapped out for ones made from pineapple, completely changing the look and feel with a single, simple action. This circular piece of furniture is constructed using innovative, lightweight #Greengridz furniture construction panels.

Less material, fewer CO2 emissions, and less waste! These principles are the circular design principles behind every Parka cabinet we produce locally. The cabinet is fully customizable and built with lightweight #Greengridz furniture panels. These panels have a carbon footprint that’s 60% lower than comparable products made with heavy, solid chipboard panels, and they use 70% less material. And if you’re no longer using the material, you don’t have to recycle it either. And that’s how TRIBOO’s #Greengridz circular storage cabinets help reduce the waste problem.

The strong and rigid structure of the Parka cabinet is made of lightweight #Greengridz furniture panels. They are manufactured locally in the Netherlands. The cabinet can be customized to your liking and is available in various sizes. For the finish, you can choose from more than 120 colors, decors, and textures.

With #greengridz, you use fewer materials, recycle fewer materials, sort fewer materials, and transport fewer materials. And at the end of their life cycle, you return them to TRIBOO, where the circular products are converted into activated carbon through a pyrolysis process and used in water and air filters. A closed-loop raw materials cycle.

CO2 emissions from the production of #greengridz tabletops are 60 percent lower than those from solid wood tabletops. Because of their light weight, 50 percent more volume can be transported, resulting in significantly lower fuel consumption and half the number of trips. The weight per square meter of a 38-millimeter tabletop is approximately 18 kilograms for plywood, 25 kilograms for particleboard, and 8 kilograms for #greengridz.

The lightweight #greengridz desk and table tops are constructed using a patented grid structure. This makes the tops extremely strong, rigid, and resistant to bending. With a top measuring 1600x800x24mm, you save approximately 13 kilograms of material compared to heavy, solid tops made of particleboard.
Together, we’re taking steps toward a healthier, circular work environment. Whether you want to furnish a single room or renovate an entire office, we’d be happy to work with you to find the right solution.
