Perfect Imperfection Planter

NeverEnding Furniture

The Perfect Imperfection circular planters, pots, and vases are 3D-printed from 100% recycled material sourced from old refrigerators. Before their transformation, the raw materials kept our food cool and extended its shelf life. The plastic used comes from the interior of the refrigerator. It is food-safe, 100% recyclable, and has a long lifespan. How cool is that! With this eye-catching design, she brings the concept of a learning organization to life in your interior. On the path to creating the perfect 3D-printed planter, TRIBOO made many mistakes and had to continuously improve. Once we were able to print the perfect planter, we decided to make our mistakes all over again—and that’s how our journey to perfection began: the Perfect Imperfection. A planter that immediately catches the eye and is eager to share its circular story in your sustainable interior.

What makes %these planters special?%

Reusing waste as a raw material. The eye-catching 3D-printed design of the Perfect Imperfection was created using circular design principles. Less material, fewer CO2 emissions, and less waste! It’s available in a variety of sizes and gives your workspace—whether at the office, school, hotel, or store—a sustainable identity by demonstrating that raw materials can be reused time and time again in different forms. By reusing raw materials that have been discarded as “waste,” you yourself make an active contribution to a zero-waste society, and the circular economy becomes a reality, step by step, in a practical way.

Designed for reuse and an “infinite life”

At the end of its useful life, the Perfect Imperfection can be returned to TRIBOO. The planter is granulated and transformed into a new form and function. The raw materials are 3D-printed again into a circular product that is in demand at that time. This prevents the waste of raw materials and significantly reduces CO2 emissions.

From Waste Costs to %Raw Material Value%

The value of the raw materials is refunded to the person who invested in the NeverEnding Furniture planters and vases upon return. For every kilogram of planter, the owner of the raw materials receives a refund of 5 euros. Because the planters have monetary value, they are no longer simply thrown away, and the raw materials are no longer lost.

What started with viewing a 3D printed tulip vase and then driven by commitment and enthusiasm, many more circular solutions turned out to be possible, which were eventually realized in the building. TRIBOO gave "working together on housing" a much broader dimension and a story to go with it.

Pieter and Peter find it very interesting and fun to work with TRIBOO. They deliver products that are completely in line with our circular objectives. They take us along in the development and knowledge of materials, binding techniques and modular constructions made on Dutch soil. They simply show us what it is made of and that appeals. They also help us tell "the circular story".

Massaro: 'We chose this furniture because it is made of worthless waste that would otherwise have made a negative impact on our planet. Now the waste has become cool and fun furniture. All those thousands of employees and visitors who will be using the rooms will see the story, read it, and may be inspired to do the same'.
