The Waves table features a 3D-printed base onto which a tabletop made from 4,500 CD cases is mounted. The amorphous design combines circularity with curiosity and the drive that sparks innovation. Crafted from high-quality recycled material, this piece of furniture minimizes its ecological footprint without compromising on aesthetics. A future-proof and sustainable statement, designed to be fully reused after its useful life.
Less material, fewer CO2 emissions, and less waste! These motivations are the circular design principles behind every Waves table we produce locally. The tables are made from raw materials that would otherwise have ended up as waste. The 3D-printed frames feature a tabletop made from CD cases. No new materials are used. And that’s how Waves helps reduce the waste problem.
At the end of its useful life, the Waves can be returned to TRIBOO. The base is ground down and transformed in both form and function. It is 3D-printed into a circular product that is in demand at that time. The blades are polished and reused.
The Waves table is constructed from a solid 3D-printed structure made entirely of recycled material. It is 780 mm high, and the width ranges from 800 to 1000 mm. It weighs 16 kilograms. The frame can be printed using plastics or natural fibers and is available in a variety of colors. The tabletops are available in various sizes.
