What happens to old military uniforms once they’ve served their purpose? At Movares, these materials are reused in the circular design of their offices. Worn-out military clothing is transformed into EverUse acoustic desk screens that are installed in TRIBOO’s circular workspaces. This enhances the aesthetic appeal of the employees’ work environment and allows the organization to put into practice the reuse of raw materials that would otherwise have ended up as waste.

The EverUse acoustic desk screens are the result of a successful collaboration between TRIBOO and i-did. These circular panels feature a super-rigid, lightweight construction made of #greengridz® on the inside and felt made from recycled workwear on the outside. A circular solution that provides acoustic comfort while making an equal impact by using fewer materials, reducing CO2 emissions, and minimizing waste.

The desk screens are available in various sizes and 16 different colors derived from the waste streams used to make them. Chalkboard black comes from the fast fashion industry and is black in color; ginger orange is made from recycled consumer textiles; KLM sky blue is made from old flight attendants’ uniforms; and there are many more colors, each with a compelling story behind it.
