Powerful professional lighting in a recognizable clock shape
Dome was developed for spaces that require a lot of light but where traditional recessed ceiling fixtures are not possible or desirable. The integrated LED module efficiently directs the light downward, while the 3D-printed shade adds a warm and decorative touch. Dome combines the performance of professional downlighting with the flexibility of a visible pendant fixture. The powerful COB LED module is fully housed within the shade and can be combined with various reflectors and optics. This allows the same luminaire family to be used for focused accent lighting, wide-area general lighting, or uniform diffuse lighting. The classic bell shape integrates the technology into the interior design, rather than hiding it completely within the ceiling.
Dome is particularly well-suited for spaces with an open ceiling structure. Whereas traditional downlights are typically recessed into a ceiling, Dome can be suspended freely in the space as a pendant fixture. Depending on the model chosen, the fixture provides approximately 1,700 to 7,000 lumens. This makes Dome ideal for use above workstations, counters, tables, retail displays, and other areas where a powerful, downward-directed beam of light is needed.
Robotic 3D printing is a technique used in the production of circular design furniture. Layer by layer, parametric models are transformed into striking pieces of furniture. Because the robotic arm can print from virtually any angle, extremely complex, curved geometries are possible. Biophilic design and complex mathematical shapes and algorithms can now be easily translated into Dutch Design furniture.
