Essential was developed for environments where light quality, comfort, and design must come together. The round fixture provides uniform light distribution and is available in various sizes, colors, and finishes. Thanks to its high light efficiency and smart control options, Essential is suitable for offices, conference rooms, healthcare settings, hospitality, and retail.
Essential combines decorative design freedom with lighting performance suitable for professional work environments. The 3D-printed exterior is available in a variety of colors and textures, while the optics are designed to reduce glare and enhance visual comfort. This means organizations don’t have to choose between striking interior design and functional office lighting. Essential offers both within a single, configurable fixture family.
The Essential is available with micro-hexagonal optics and in versions that comply with UGR19. This makes the luminaire suitable for spaces where people work in front of computer screens for extended periods and where minimizing annoying glare is important. Depending on the configuration, the Essential is available with a color temperature of 3,000 or 4,000 kelvin and a color rendering index (CRI) of 90. A Tunable White version is also available, allowing the color temperature to be adjusted between 2,700 and 6,500 kelvin.
The exterior of Essential is digitally designed and 3D-printed layer by layer. This eliminates the need for traditional production molds and allows the fixture to be produced on demand. According to the official product information, at least 55% of the printed parts consist of recycled or mass-balanced biocircular material. The production method allows for a variety of shapes, colors, and textures, while using only the material necessary for the design.
