NoTrash
NoTrash is a modular waste sorting station made from recycled plastic sourced from existing waste streams. The individual modules help organizations collect paper, plastic, organic waste, general waste, and paper cups separately. If more waste streams need to be sorted, the system can easily be expanded with additional modules.

NoTrash makes the circular economy immediately visible in the workplace. Plastic products that have outlived their original purpose are reprocessed into modules that allow for the separate collection of new waste streams. In this way, the station not only supports waste separation but also demonstrates that used plastics can remain valuable raw materials.

A traditional waste sorting station is often made from newly produced raw materials. NoTrash is made from recycled plastic waste. This makes the waste sorting station a recognizable part of the circular design of an office, school, store, or public space.

A well-designed waste sorting station should be immediately understandable to every user. Organizing the modules by waste stream creates a designated area where materials can be sorted and disposed of. The modular layout makes it possible to tailor the station to the specific types of waste actually generated at a given location. For example, an office may require different modules than a school, restaurant, city hall, or manufacturing facility.
For production, used plastics are collected, sorted, and processed into a new raw material. The product page mentions recycled plastics and lists both compression molding and injection molding as possible production techniques. In compression molding, shredded plastic material is formed into new sheet material under pressure and heat. In injection molding, plastic pellets are heated and molded into a part within a mold.
