Each Up is digitally designed based on a 3D body scan of the user. The AI fitting engine then calculates the geometry based on 14 ergonomic parameters, and the chair is 3D-printed. The AI ChairFitting engine’s algorithm matches your unique anatomy to the optimal chair geometry based on 14 ergonomic parameters. This is translated into a parametric digital design developed over 20 years of clinical practice.

3D printing

All of the unique components of the UP circular office chair are 3D-printed from recycled polypropylene. The components can always be reprinted if they need to be modified or replaced. At the end of their useful life, the parts can be ground down to be used to print new components.
