The Sit & Grow brings a unique idea to life. A circular piece of furniture that moves with you and can literally change its function. What is a striking plant pot today can be a comfortable ottoman tomorrow. Not a static object, but a design that responds to the dynamics of the modern circular workplace.

In work environments such as offices, stores, hotels, schools, and restaurants, flexibility is key, and spaces are constantly changing. Sit & Grow fits perfectly into this context. During the day, it provides greenery and tranquility, contributes to a healthier work environment, and enhances the space’s aesthetic appeal. But as soon as there’s a need for additional seating, the same design easily transforms into a functional seating area.

This versatility is based on circular design principles. The Sit & Grow is 3D-printed locally from recycled bio-based materials and is designed to evolve. Not only in its use, but also in its form. When needs change, this circular product can be reprocessed and reprinted, adapted to a new function or layout. The result is a piece of furniture that is never fixed but continues to evolve. A smart solution that saves space, maximizes use, and makes sustainability tangible.

The Sit and Grow is made from a reusable, bio-based material that incorporates wood fibers, giving it a natural look. It is available in various sizes, ranging from a diameter of 490 mm and a height of 400 mm to a diameter of 916 mm and a height of 750 mm.

With NeverEnding Furniture Sit & Grow, you get two uses in one product, and you’re choosing a workspace that’s not only greener but also more versatile—in an environment where a single piece of furniture can fulfill multiple roles and is always ready for whatever comes next.

3D Robot Printing

Robotic 3D printing is a technique used in the production of circular design furniture. Layer by layer, parametric models are transformed into striking pieces of furniture. Because the robotic arm can print from virtually any angle, extremely complex, curved geometries are possible. Biophilic design and complex mathematical forms and algorithms can now be easily translated into Dutch Design furniture. Reusable raw materials and recycled materials from waste streams form the building blocks of table bases, lamps, and planters. This creates a new world of design freedom and paves the way for waste-free production. Furniture is digitally transported to its destination and produced locally with a minimal carbon footprint.

What started with viewing a 3D printed tulip vase and then driven by commitment and enthusiasm, many more circular solutions turned out to be possible, which were eventually realized in the building. TRIBOO gave "working together on housing" a much broader dimension and a story to go with it.

Pieter and Peter find it very interesting and fun to work with TRIBOO. They deliver products that are completely in line with our circular objectives. They take us along in the development and knowledge of materials, binding techniques and modular constructions made on Dutch soil. They simply show us what it is made of and that appeals. They also help us tell "the circular story".

Massaro: 'We chose this furniture because it is made of worthless waste that would otherwise have made a negative impact on our planet. Now the waste has become cool and fun furniture. All those thousands of employees and visitors who will be using the rooms will see the story, read it, and may be inspired to do the same'.
