Sit & Grow was developed for dynamic environments where the need for greenery, seating, and flexibility is constantly changing. During the day, the piece can be used as a plant pot that adds ambiance and greenery to the space. When additional seating is needed, the same piece transforms into a functional ottoman.
Sit & Grow combines two functions into a single design. Instead of placing a separate plant pot and a separate piece of seating, the same circular base can be used for both functions. This makes the product suitable for spaces that are regularly rearranged. Think of offices, stores, schools, hotels, restaurants, and reception areas where, at different times, there is a need for more greenery, extra seating, or a different spatial layout.
Traditional furniture is usually designed for a single, fixed purpose. Sit & Grow takes a different approach. The product can change its purpose over its lifetime and thus be adapted to whatever the space needs at that moment. As a plant pot, Sit & Grow brings greenery and a natural look to the interior. When used as a ottoman, it creates a casual seating area for waiting, meeting, discussing, or relaxing. This allows the same material to be used more intensively and in a more versatile way.
Sit & Grow is made from a reusable, biobased raw material that incorporates wood fibers. The visible fibers and the layered print structure give the furniture a warm and natural look. The material’s texture is not hidden behind a traditional finish. As a result, the product’s construction remains visible, and the raw material forms a recognizable part of the design.
